Terms and conditions

Last updated:

The conditions governing the use of the penzai.it website, the Magazine and the newsletter.

1. Who we are

The penzai.it website is operated by Agostino Cacciola (Penzai Human Tech Consulting) · Via Giosuè Carducci 17, 20062 Cassano d'Adda (MI), Italia · Email info@penzai.it (“Penzai”, “we”). Penzai provides consulting on artificial intelligence, automation and digital transformation to companies and professionals.

The site is run by a private individual in a personal capacity: identification and contact details are set out above.

2. Scope and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the site, its content (including the Magazine), comments and the newsletter. By using the site you accept them; if you do not agree, please do not use it. The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

3. Use of the site

You may browse the site free of charge for lawful personal or professional purposes. You may not:

  • use the site in breach of the law or of the rights of others;
  • try to access restricted areas, circumvent security measures or interfere with the site's operation;
  • send unlawful, offensive, defamatory or spam content, or malicious code, through forms, comments or email;
  • make automated submissions or bulk data collection that overloads the service.

4. Content and intellectual property

The texts, articles, graphics, images, the “Penzai” logo and brand and the structure of the site belong to Penzai or their respective owners and are protected by Italian copyright law (Law 633/1941) and the Italian Industrial Property Code. Short excerpts may be quoted with the source and a link to the original page, within the limits of Article 70 of Law 633/1941. Any other reproduction, modification or commercial use requires our written consent.

Third-party trademarks and product or service names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used for descriptive purposes only, without implying affiliation or endorsement.

5. Magazine content and use of artificial intelligence

Magazine articles are written with the support of artificial intelligence tools, following editorial rules set by Penzai, and are published under our editorial responsibility. We strive to keep them accurate and up to date, but they may contain inaccuracies or not reflect developments after the publication date: if you spot an error, write to us and we will correct it.

The case studies on the site are illustrative “typical scenarios”: they describe plausible situations and results for a given sector and do not refer to real clients unless expressly stated. Timelines, figures and results are indicative estimates, not guarantees.

6. No professional advice

The content of the site and the Magazine is for information purposes only. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial, medical or other professional advice and does not create a professional relationship with Penzai. Before making significant decisions, consult a qualified professional who can assess your specific situation.

7. User comments

You are responsible for the comments you post. By posting a comment you grant Penzai a free, non-exclusive licence to display it on the site alongside the article. Comments may be moderated before publication, and we may decline or remove those that breach these terms or the law, are off-topic or contain other people's personal data. You can ask us to remove your comment at any time.

8. Penzai Magazine newsletter

The newsletter is free and sends you a daily selection of Magazine articles. Signing up requires confirmation through the link we email you (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, using the link in every email. We may change the newsletter's frequency or content or discontinue it. The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Links to third-party sites

The site may contain links to third-party sites, provided for convenience or as a source. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

10. Availability and limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the site accessible and working, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted, including because of maintenance or causes beyond our control.

To the extent permitted by Italian law, Penzai is not liable for damage arising from the use of the information published on the site or from being unable to access it. This does not limit liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (Art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), nor the rights granted to consumers by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and other mandatory rules.

11. Consulting services

Service descriptions on the site are indicative and do not constitute an offer to the public. Requests sent through the site are not binding. Consulting services are governed by separate written quotes or contracts, which prevail over these terms for everything concerning the service.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the court of your place of residence or domicile (Art. 66-bis of Legislative Decree 206/2005), and the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence remain unaffected. In all other cases, the courts of the place where Penzai has its registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Changes do not apply retroactively.

14. Contact

For questions about these terms, write to info@penzai.it.
